Dr. Nina Edwards, Assoc. AIA, PhD, is an architectural designer with over 20 years of industry experience. Edwards’ practice, based in New York City, has specialized in creating sustainable spaces and holistic environments for wellbeing. She serves as faculty at Parsons New School with a course titled Ecological Design for Interiors.
Edwards served as Design Director at the urban think tank Terreform ONE and is on the Architectural Review Board of her community in Long Island. As a board member of the ARB, Edwards oversees the breadth of construction, preservation, and renovation initiatives in her neighborhood, which includes encouraging homeowners to adopt environmental principles and renewable energy systems.
She has been featured as an expert on sustainable design in many media outlets, including The Local Project, Elle Décor, Dezeen, Frame, Domus, Surface Magazine, Architectural Record and The New York Times.
