Ingrid Johnson is a tax and estate attorney who works with individuals and families to plan and protect their legacies. Over her 25-year career, Ms. Johnson has become known as a goal-oriented and compassionate advisor as well as a powerful and persuasive advocate.
Ingrid tailors estate plans to create trusts, wills, health care proxies, powers of attorney, and other documents that provide an infrastructure for clients’ assets and a roadmap for their personal values and wishes.
Ingrid also guides families through the probate process and represents clients in disputed estates. Ingrid has successfully tried cases involving guardianships, trusts, and family-owned businesses.
Ingrid believes that public service part of her role as an attorney, and she has been recognized for her public interest work by Harvard Law School, which selected her as a Wasserstein Public Interest Fellow, and Rutgers Law School, which awarded her with the Philip Levin Public Interest Scholarship.
Ingrid earned her L.L.M. in tax law at New York University School of Law, her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, and her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College.
