Teri Scheinzeit
Business Coach
(In Memoriam)

Teri Scheinzeit will always be remembered as a legendary member of WENG. A brilliant business coach, professional speaker and author, she brought twenty-five years of experience as a successful entrepreneur into her coaching relationships. In her engaging and upbeat style, she helped her clients to identify and remedy problems in their businesses, learn to value self-care, and see the humor and pathos in life’s journeys. At the start of the pandemic, it was this empathy that led her to invite all WENG members to “drop in” to an impromptu morning group, which she then continued to lead daily and without charge for the entire year. These meetings became a touchstone and a lifesaver at the start of each day for dozens of women helping each other navigate the unimaginable challenges in their businesses and personal lives brought on by COVID.

Teri was awarded Mentor/Coach of the Year from the Stevie Awards, a premier business organization honoring women entrepreneurs worldwide. Her book, “Success Without Stress: Simple Steps to Finding Calm for Women Business Owners” won four book awards in 2017. She was also a dazzling songwriter and performer, whose body of work culminated in the recent CD release of her one-woman show, Choosing Happy, a funny and poignant memoir of her lifelong battle with cancer.

Losing Teri was a heartbreaking blow to WENG, but we honor her with our ongoing commitment to help and support one another. Her books and CD’s are available on Amazon and www.savvybizowner.com.
